Take 5 minutes

We live in a society were it everyday it becomes harder and harder to relax, we put ourselves under a lot of pressure on our day to day life, we forget how to live outside work and enjoy life and everything it has to offer, but sometimes it all gets too much and we just have to take 5 minutes to relax.
Go for a walk, step out of your work zone, take a chance to be by yourself without having to think about that problem that's been bothering you, enjoy the view from outside, walking is not only a great way to distress but also it's great for you body and health. Take a few deep breaths and let your mind wander.
Daydream, literally, take a sit, close your eyes and focus on your breathing, check with your body on any spot where you may be holding any tension and let everything go, focus on the way air goes into your lungs and out.
Eat a snack, sometimes when we don't seem to focus it's because we are hungry, we let work take over and we forget to eat, eat something but don't overeat, it's going to have an opposite result, eat something small and enjoy it.
Listen to music, calmed, soft music is always nice when you are feeling quite stressed, but go with whatever you are feeling like listening, something that can make you feel calmed and happy.
Step aside from your computer, spending hours in front of a screen is no good for anyone, enjoy the sun, let your eyes take a break, enjoy the view outside that screen.
Stretch, let your body relax one by one, start by tensing as much as you can, then let go, start with your feet muscles and slowly go all the way up to your face, it's going to take a while and you'll have to focus on that part of your body, this will allow any tension you may be holding on to go and you'll feel instantly more relaxed and in control of yourself.
Meditate, it takes five minutes, you don't have to go somewhere, take few moments everyday before you even start feeling stressed or anxious, let your mind relax.
When in doubt try chewing gum, counting backwards, refreshing yourself by washing your hands and face, smell something you find comforting, drink some tea or laugh,  but never let your anxiety or stress take over you, you just need 5 minutes.
