Of the Bookshelf| Neanderthal Marries Human

They say that when love hits you it hits you bad and it has hit Quinn quite bad, so after 5 months of dating Janie he's ready to propose what he doesn't anticipate is that Janie's hunger for information, her friends and the world are ready to put him to the test. Will he crack under pressure? Will Janie manage all the stress prewedding? Are the girls going to be able to find the perfect dress for her and survive the bachelorette party?
What I liked:

  • We get to see a lot more from Quinn and learn a lot more about his past and how he sees Janie.
  • Janie's character gets even better in this book, she has more ideas, shows more of her fears going into this relationship and marriage.
  • The reconnection with the girls, little by little she starts to talk more and more and we gain back a little bit of the connection she had before Quinn happened and how they immerse themselves in the most hilarious situations.
What I didn't like:
  • The rollercoaster of emotions it causes, you go from happy to sad in a minute to hysterical on the next one, it's just a little bit much towards the end.
It's a short book, an addition to first one of the series, it's a good continuation to the first delivery of the series and it shows you the other side of the coin. If you liked the first book you are going to love this one and the ones to come, for me it's a 4 out of 5.
