Every year as soon as spring rolls around we get this amazing pop of colour around the city, everything is decorated by this little purple flowers that not only make the city shine up and look more colourful, but also it reminds us that hotter weather is coming.
I'm lucky enough to have many of this trees around were I live and in school, I never missed them and they make me love spring, although they come and go too soon. As soon as Holy Week is over they retrieve themselves and we are left with green, thunderstorm look-a-like trees.
Something about them makes this time of transition from cold to spring more special and unique, The purple really bring a pop of colour in what sometimes can be a really grey city. Spring is in full bloom here.
