Natalie Garson is the true representation of a city girl, she's known for her love of cheese and her routines. She works hard and isn't scared to use her womanly charms to get a free pass. She has more confidence on her little finger than more women do in her whole body, but it hasn't always been like that. What she doesn't expect is her life changing once again, a new project and a mystery man may be what she had been waiting for a long time to shake her life, but will she be ready to face her past fears? will she be ready for a change?

What I liked:
  • Having a plus size main character that loves her body while also taking care of it. She's a "bigger" size but that doesn't keep her for doing a class a week or trying to balance food.
  • The way they bring the story back to the Valley and with the characters we loved from the first book.
  • Certain parts of Natalie's character where really interesting, you could see there was a mask and she was hiding under organised layers, but you could also see how strong she truly was and how much she loved working for what she deserved.
What I didn't like:
  • The way they made Natalie sound like a maneater, there were times in the book in which I really thought she hoped from man to man due to the plot and how her friends made her sound. It could've been managed in such a different way, she has charm, confidence and knows how to treat men, that doesn't mean she spends each night with a different guy.
  • The way they handled Natalie's past, they touch on a sensitive topic, they talk about abuse and she opens with someone she met 5 weeks ago instead of her long time friend. It didn't seemed fitting or realistic for me.
  • The chemistry between Oscar and Natalie was off sometimes and to be honest out of the series Oscar was my least favourite as he doesn't give out for her, she moves back down to the Valley.
It's a really good book, don't get me wrong on this one but there were certain things that truly threw me off while reading it and by the end of it, I was happy it was over. Again, it's a light reading that links the first book nicely and doesn't leave anything hanging, plus it touches on really sensitive topics that should be talked about it more. For me it's a 3.5 out of 5.
