Sandra knows how to make a date cry and that's what she has done over the past 30 dates she's had, but one night after another blow with another date with mother issues she decides that maybe it's time for something different and that's what Alex, her hot waiter, is, but she knows nothing about what she's getting herself into.
What I liked:
- Sandra is hilarious and has a dry/dirty sense of humour, she's not afraid to say what she thinks and even when it doesn't seem that way, she wants the best for everyone. She's a badass and throughout the book I started to admire her.
- Alex and his both sides, he's a cryptic guy with a juvenile spirit, it's not the best combo but it works for them, they compliment each other.
- The plot was different in the sense that there were real challenges for this relationship to work, it wasn't just about them and the world, there were a lot of secrets and situations that they had to work to get to that happy place they both wanted to be.
What I didn't like:
- The ending was so unexpected that a part of me wanted to hit the main characters, mostly Sandra, but I understand where she was coming from and why it was important.
It was a good book, it made me laugh, it was different from the other ones but it goes nicely with the series. Sandra and Alex are ones to love and laugh with. For me it's a 4.5 out of 5.
Mayte.
