Of the Bookshelf| Confessions of a Reformed Tom Cat

Tom Donnely is a known manwhore in the island, he isn't the marrying kind, not even the dating kind not even after losing his wingman, John Day, to his best half. However everything can change when a lost love reappears on the island, his sister's best friend, Hailey King, who's about to rock his and everyone else's world. Maybe she has what it takes to tame this Tom Cat.
What I liked:

  • At the beginning of every chapter you get a different rule of Tom's, it was a nice little touch that made the story a little bit more interesting and gave you something to look out for.
  • Tom is a manwhore and he isn't afraid to accept it, he knows he likes sex and he goes out his way to get it and he can be quite charming, but he stills accepts and respects certain rules.
  • Hailey is confident at a certain extent and it's a much more realistic way of how women are, she's refreshing and she's something Tom always wanted but never was able to had and she doesn't push anything, it was quite interesting to see their connection happening.
  • You get to see more of the people in the island as Tom and his family have quite the reputation and it was quite funny to see everything happening and gossip going around.
What I didn't like:
  • The first encounter between Hailey and Tom when she asks for sex openly has been seen way too many times before, something a little bit different would've done it for me.
It was a really funny book and if you have ever faced one of those situations you can't help but laugh and relate to it, it is my favourite book of the series as they truly build a solid relationship. For me it's a 4.5 out 5.
