Of the Bookshelf| Bright Side

This is the perfect book for you to read if you have been keeping up with the posts this week.
Kate likes to always look at the bright side, even when she's gone through a lot of pain in the past years she finds a way of pushing herself forward and do everything she's ever wanted, the one thing she doesn't believe in? Love, but everything changes when Keller from a small town in Minnesota where she's attending college enters her life. But there's more to it than that, there's a secret and it's going to hurt everyone around her.
What I liked:
  • Kate's character is so refreshing, she's so animated and energetic with everyone around her, and even when she's gone through a lot, she doesn't let anyone put her down, but she still likes to connect with everyone.
  • Gus is a male put in a tough situation and he doesn't know how to handle everything around him but Kate somehow brings the best in him, it's a lovely relationship even when it was just a friendship.
  • Keller is an idiot with a goal and I like that, at the end he's just a college boy working his way through bad experiences and falling for the right girl, the one that tells him to not f*ck it up.
What I didn't like:
  • There's only one bad thing I can say about this book and that's that there were parts where the book seemed unendable, there were a few pages I wouldn't have included, but at the end made the book flow and be more consistent.
This book has a big lesson in its pages, one everyone should learn before it's too late, you are going to cry a lot, the ending was so powerful and perfect, there's no other way of describing it, this book is a 4.5 out of 5 for me, and I really hope you enjoy it as much as me.
