Let the sun shine through, open your blinds, let light inside your workspace/home, this will not only help you with your sleeping patterns, but will also make you feel more energised and that will help your mood a lot. On that note, if you feel like you don't get enough daylight in your space, place strategic lighting so it doesn't feel as dark.
Now that you have your fair amount of daylight it's time to tackle the night time, it's important you get as much sleep possible, maintain a good schedule, listen to your body as not everyone needs the same amount of sleep as others, and relax before going to bed, make it cozy and comfy and you'll wake up feeling a lot better.
We have day and night, but in between those we have to eat something, what you eat it's going to affect directly on your mood. The more sugar refined sugar you eat during the day, the more your body is going to crash when you don't have it, it's going to make you cranky and even when having a piece of chocolate every once in while is not bad for you, you should always go for the healthy option first. Also, try to not leave too much time between meals as this affects your metabolism and level of energy.
And let's go for the subject you all have been waiting for, water, when you don't drink enough water throughout the day you get moody and there's no denying in that, you also are prone to getting headaches and to feel more tired. Drink up to 2l of water, maybe a little more if you workout and you'll see an instant difference.
And if you still feel like something is missing, go out for a walk, workout, do something physical for 30+ minutes and even though you are going to feel tired afterwards you are going to feel happy to have accomplished something and your body is going to thank as it is also a way of taking care of it.
Never let a bad day control your mood, remember that there's a lot more to come and there's much more to see out there and remember to always keep on dreaming.
