Lily Linton and Mr Rikkard Ambrose have been through a lot in this past months but they are still unveiling secrets as their adventure continues in the desert, an unknown environment where the rules are about to change. Is the desert hot enough to melt the cold heart of Britain's richest financier?
What I liked:
- The plot, once again it delivered a good story with its turns and its changes but without losing their main storyline in any way.
- Their relationship and the way it grows, you can feel the tension while reading it, yet it's not as showy or as in your face as other stories tend to be.
- The characters, again, he knows his characters and they don't lose their essence in the story, even when they do evolve a lot, plus, Lilly Linton never loses her essence or her main ambitions.
What I didn't like:
- The "extra" chapters, even when they were less of, it was notorious that there were a few chapters that could have been cut.
It's not often that I say this, but the second part was even better than the first one. The story, the characters, everything was flowing better without losing the essence of the characters you met in the first book. It's beautifully written and it made me love Lilly Linton even more, she has one of the sharpest minds without losing her charm and humor. For me it's a 4.5 out of 5.
Mayte.
