However everything changes when Will enters his life, being a lover of slam poetry, he impresses Layken with an amazing first date, but as soon as they start to get along everything is slammed by a sudden realisation. How do they deal with the daily interaction while falling for each other?
What I liked:
- The plot: There was a point in which these stories were trendy but in this particular book we get to see a little bit more of their personal lives as they start their story together, it portrays a not so dramatic past and a confusing future, they involve more characters and make the story more interesting.
- Layken as a character is really strong, she's really stubborn and approachable, in those breakdown moments you can really identify with her and her cleaning.
- Their relationship grows and moves in a normal paste, no one rushes into anything and even when they are apart they support each other, they work through misunderstandings and it's a normal relationship with a twist.
What I didn't like:
- The ending: It was a little weak after everything that goes through between them but in the second part it redimes itself.
It's a good story, it represents the way Y/A novels were laid out before bad boys and affairs, it's a really good book if you are staring yourself in this genre. For me it's a 4 out of 5.
Mayte.
