Have you ever heard about self-centered men that are actually considerate to the female population? Me either, but Spencer is a one of a kind, he cares, he knows what he likes and knows what he has. Publicly known as a womanizer or a playboy by the NYC community, he comes into trouble when his parent tell him it's time to cool off while he makes business with a conservative family.
But what happens when the only woman you seem to rely on it's you best friend? A commitment may make their friendship more interesting for both of them.
What I liked:
  • The language: There is such thing as censoring yourself when writing a book, but for me it was really well managed in this book, Spencer is open and talks about his penis like any other men would, he accepts who he is and what he does. Also Charlotte is really open and really honest, she's not a broken soul, she knows what she wants.
  • The characters: They are honest and talk like two grown ups, they are in their 20 something and they are reliable and not that cheesy.
  • The plot: It was somehow predictable in some parts, but it was really light, without too much drama and without too much interference of others, it all kinda goes with them and their story.
  • Spencer: As a character, he talks like a dude from his age, he likes to play but at the same time knows about his dreams and how to accomplish them.
And that's it, I don't think there's anything I don't like about this book, it's funny, it's romantic, it's real, it's everything you have been expecting to find in, it contains more mature language and situations but that doesn't make it an erotic book, you have to read it and enjoy to understand it.
This is a 5 out of 5 for me.
